I'll be doing a reading and presentation about Filipino Nurses, revolving around my book about my mom and aunties called "House of Nurses: An American Journey." It's part of a larger, Filipino cultural event called "Halo-Halo Project." Besides my presentation, I'm having Ginger Leopoldo of the Circa Pintig Filipino theater company, assisting in my reading.
