Blending fashion, film, and conversation, the event honours the beauty, craftsmanship, and cultural significance of traditional Sudanese handmade fabrics while exploring their place within contemporary artistic practice.

At the heart of the evening is a fashion presentation featuring garments created from Damour, Motrar, and Damoria — three iconic Sudanese textiles renowned for their distinctive textures, earthy tones, and deep cultural resonance. Each handcrafted piece reflects a dialogue between tradition and modernity, weaving together themes of resilience, femininity, identity, and memory through elegant silhouettes, intricate detailing, and expressive patterns.

The presentation will be followed by a short film screening and a live conversation with Nazik Sirag and invited guests, exploring the emotional, political, and cultural significance of Sudanese dress and adornment.
