House of K.I.N.G.s Saturday School Performance
About this Event
Join us for a special afternoon of creativity, storytelling, and performance as our young K.I.N.G.s take to the stage to present two short theatre productions created as part of the House of K.I.N.G.s Programme.
This performance marks the finale of a 10-week National Lottery funded project, delivered through the House of K.I.N.G.s at the University of East London – Royal Docks Centre for Sustainability. The project brought together two age groups (7–11 and 12–18), supporting young people to develop skills in performing arts, leadership, and life skills.
During week five, participants presented their creative pitches to a panel and live audience, sharing their ideas and visions. This final showcase brings those ideas to life, transforming their pitches into fully developed live performances.
More than just a theatre event, this celebration highlights the journey behind the work — building confidence, creativity, teamwork, leadership, and self-expression. Throughout the programme, our young people have explored the K.I.N.G. values of Knowledge, Identity, Nurturer, and Gifts, discovering their strengths and sharing their voices through performance.
Come and celebrate their creativity, growth, and achievements as they share what they have created with the community.
