House in the Woods Room Dedication

Help us celebrate a recent room renovation at the House in the Woods Room Dedication with the Noecker Family on Friday, Sept. 5 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the House in the Woods.

The community is invited to see the updates made to Room 1, thanks to the generosity of the Joe Noecker Family. Joe’s gift is in memory of the Noecker family, who have a rich history at Allerton: Ray and Vera Noecker and children Marilyn (Noecker) Sago, Jo Ann (Noecker) Shafer, and Don Noecker lived in the House in the Woods in the 1940s when they were caretakers of the Allerton Estate. Light refreshments will be served and most of the House will be available for viewing. There will be a short program at 10 a.m.
