Hound & Handler
Hound & Handler is a Bluegrass/Americana stringband from Boston. Their originals reflect the challenges of carving out a life in a world where the odds feel stacked, blending urban storytelling with classic country themes of work, independence, and the long push toward something better. Established in 2021 as an Americana band including drums and occasional electric guitars, the band has since honed their bluegrass roots, featuring a lineup of Sean Davis playing mandolin and singing high-lonesome harmonies, Ross Kiah on guitar and lead vocals, Joe Everett on upright bass and vocals, and most recently, Devon Gardner tearing it up on fiddle. The band was nominated for 2025 Americana Artist of the Year by the Boston Music Awards.
