Hot Sun Duo Concert

Join us at the REO Town Clubhouse, a stone’s throw away from The Robin Theatre, to continue the musical journey begun there with La Singla (hyperlink to film’s Pragda entry)! Shortly following that screening, The Hot Sun Duo (hyperlink to website) will take the stage to perform a tour of soundscapes starting with flamenco-inflected rumbas from Spain before moving on to Brazilian samba and Latin jazz. Guitarist Nikola Baltic (hyperlink to bio on website) and percussionist Roberto Maldonado (hyperlink to bio on website) will serve as our sonic tour guides through Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula. Plus: late night pizza and assorted appetizers, beverages and a pool hall! Tickets $5 advance/$10 door
