🎷Jazz-trio Hot Heros saapuu jälleen kesäkuussa Irkkuun!
Suomalaisen kokeellisen jazzin huippuyhtye Hot Herosin jäsenten yhteinen soittohistoria ulottuu aina 2000-luvun alkuun asti. Tampereella vaikuttavien arvostettujen muusikoiden — rumpali Janne Tuomen, basisti Ville Rauhalan ja saksofonisti Sami Sippolan — muodostama trio on nähty lukuisten erilaisten artistien taustalla, mutta oman olemuksensa yhtye tavoittaa parhaiten triona.
Hot Heros ottaa uudella levyllään käsittelyynsä mestaripelimanni Konsta Jylhän ajattomia sävelmiä, ja tuloksena on albumi, jonka tummat sävyt vievät kuuntelijan suurten kysymysten ja oudosti lohdullisen surumielen äärelle. "Tähtisilmän" toinen jalka on syvällä suomalaisen kansanmusiikin perinteessä, toinen potkii tulevaisuuden ovea auki Pispalanharjun mutaan astuneella tennarilla.

🎷 Jazz Trio Hot Heros Returns to One For The Road in June!
The Finnish experimental jazz powerhouse Hot Heros is coming back to One For The Road this June! The trio’s shared musical history stretches all the way back to the early 2000s. Comprised of highly respected Tampere-based musicians — drummer Janne Tuomi, bassist Ville Rauhala, and saxophonist Sami Sippola. The group has appeared as backing musicians for numerous artists. However, their true essence is best captured in the intimate format of a trio.
On their latest album, Hot Heros reinterpret the timeless melodies of master folk musician Konsta Jylhä. The result is a recording whose dark hues lead the listener toward big existential questions and a strangely comforting sense of melancholy. "Tähtisilmä" stands with one foot deeply rooted in the Finnish folk tradition, while the other strides boldly into the future.
