October is Menopause Awareness Month and to celebrate, the Hot Flashes Show is heading to the newly renovated Skokie Theatre, now called, The Skokie.
Hot Flashes & Fierce Tales puts conversations about menopause and being a “woman of a certain age” in the spotlight, giving our fears and concerns not just a voice, but a microphone.
Our gifted storytellers normalize what it means to be a complicated human. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll feel understood.
Featuring talented local storytellers:
Melissa Blount, Rina Campbell, Sofia Javed, Debi Lewis, Rebecca Lindell, Monica Matsakis, Amy Meadows, Kim Moldofsky, and Amy Sumpter along with a special flash interview with @DunneWithMenopause.
Lobby bar opens at 6:00 pm, house opens 6:30 pm.
Join in if you can.
Tickets are $20 at https://www.theskokie.com/event/hot-flashes-fierce-tales-stories-from-menopause-midlife-and-beyond/
