Connection Club is teaming up with "The Clubhouse" to kick off summer with a lighthearted, low-pressure evening all about good food, playful activities, and meeting new people. Whether you’re coming for the glizzies, the crafts, or the vibes, this is your invitation to show up as you are and have some fun with it.

Expect a mix of creative, conversation-friendly activations designed to help break the ice, including hot dog–themed craft kits and a DIY bag charm bar featuring glizzy-themed charms. And of course, plenty of delicious hot dogs (vegan-friendly options also available!) from "The Clubhouse" to enjoy along the way.

Come solo or bring a friend, and settle into a welcoming space where it’s easy to strike up a conversation and not take things too seriously.

✍️ Custom hot dog portraits from Hanibear Workshop ($10-18 per drawing)

🎨 FREE face painting and balloons for the kiddos 5-7pm from Funnie & Friends

🍦 A playful, nostalgic atmosphere (plus ice cream, too!)

ABOUT THE HOSTS & VENDORS:

✨ Connection Club is a mobile third space where community, creativity, and connection thrive. We host unique pop-up events around Indianapolis — from craft cafes and adult field trips to dinner parties, dating events, and book swaps. Come meet new people and make something with your hands!

✨ “The Clubhouse” is a nostalgic trail-side outpost offering a playful menu of soft serve ice cream, hot dogs, warm pretzels, popcorn, and delicious bakery items from the Pots & Pans Pie Co. team.

✨ Hanibear Workshop is a live drawing booth where you get a cute, flattering doodle of people and pets in 2-5 minutes! The drawing gets dispensed from the wooden photobooth, inspired by other artists in Asia and NYC. Decorate your drawing card with stickers and accessories. Special offering for this event: You can choose to get a one-of-a-kind doodle of you as a hot dog!

✨ Funnie & Friends is Indy’s original children’s entertainment company with over 25 years of experience that keeps their littlest guests entertained. Fun is their business, and they’re great at what they do! Funnie & Friends will be on-site at the Hot Dog Social from 5-7pm, offering FREE face painting and balloons for the kiddos and the young at heart!

If you wish to not be photographed during the event, please let your host know. We try to keep our photo/video to a minimum to avoid distraction.

🐾 Doggos are welcome to this event! Just make sure they're well-behaved and won't hinder your craft-making experience.

☔ In the case of inclement weather or not enough sign-ups, we will cancel and/or reschedule the event. If you purchased a ticket to the original event and cannot make it to the rescheduled date, we will refund your ticket.
