Guitarist, composer, and band leader, Duved captivates audiences with his immersive musical vision. Born in Israel, he began playing guitar at the age of 12. After discovering the music of Django Reinhardt and the Ferret brothers (particularly Sarane), he devoted himself entirely to mastering his playing style, with a particular focus on the pre-1940 period. He gained an international reputation for his almost unique ability to evoke the “Django sound” from before the war.
Currently leading the experimental “Prebop Orchestra” and the new “Quintet of the Hot Club de France”, Duved regularly performs in jazz festivals around the globe, keeping traditional jazz alive not by preserving it but by continuing to expand on its creative legacy.
Dan Litzky is a French violinist, composer, arranger, recording artist, actor, musical consultant, conductor, and artistic director whose career spans classical music, chamber music, contemporary repertoire, film production, and jazz. Internationally recognized for his versatility and artistic excellence, he has performed throughout Europe, Asia, and North America as a soloist, chamber musician, concertmaster, educator, recording artist, and creative collaborator.
In recent years, Litzky has become increasingly active in the international jazz scene as co-leader and artistic director of the Quintette du Hot Club de France, one of the most prominent ensembles dedicated to preserving and renewing the musical legacy of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli. Under his artistic leadership, the ensemble has expanded its international presence through recordings, educational projects, and performances at major festivals and concert venues throughout Europe, North America, and Asia.
