Our Feature will be the Village Strings. We are thrilled to have this group of talented musicians on our stage once again for some toe tapping and hand clapping music! Always a delight, these folks play a mix of Traditional, Celtic, Irish, Scottish and Folk music that keeps the tradition alive. They do this on multiple instruments including the hammered dulcimer, mountain dulcimer, penny whistle, tambourine, spoons, banjo, guitar, and more. The Village Strings will perform a thirty minute set beginning at 8:00 p.m.December's Host is Dan Drouillard. Dan has played his guitar and dazzled us with his vocals many times but this is his first venture into the hosting gig and I know he'll be great! From a musical family, Dan started in the church choir with his Mom, then on to barbershop music with his Dad, and then rock with his brother Dave and friend Willy Scott. As host, Dan will play two songs and introduce the performers throughout the evening.
8 Open Mic spots available, 4 will play before the feature and 4 will play after the feature. Musicians please sign-up between 6:15 and 6:45pm.
Donation of $7 at the door or annual memberships available.
