Join Chris Maler, Senior Director of Horticulture at Flamingo Gardens, for Horticulture for South Florida Gardens.
This month Chris will answer "What’s that bug? Is it Friend or Foe?" Learn how to identify common landscape insects to determine if they are beneficial or harmful, and how to manage pests safely. We will also discuss the basics of horticulture, specifically for home gardeners in southeast Florida (Broward, Dade, Palm Beach).
Chris Maler, FCHP, FFLCP, is a professional horticulturist, garden designer, and consultant. He is a native south Floridian and has been in horticulture in Broward County since 1988.
