Join us for one of our famous Horseless (bring only yourself or a friend or two) Introduction to Working Equitation clinics. During this clinic you will learn about the 4 phases of Working Equitation and the strategy required to be successful in each. 4 Phases or Trials
1. Dressage (patterns with precision)
2. Ease of Handing (obstacles with finesse)
3. Speed (obstacles at speed - level is not required of Intro level riders.
4. Cattle (this phase is for Level 2 and above and not a required phase)
Whether you have competition goals or just want to improve your relationship and skills with your horse, this is the perfect sport to help you achieve your goals.
The focus of this clinic will be on the Ease of Handling Phase which is an obstacle phase that requires precision. We'll walk through each obstacle and the requirements for peak performance. Once we walk through all the requirements for each obstacle, we will have participants do an actual course walk as if you were in a competition. We'll discuss strategy and then walk the course again as if you were participating in the speed phase. You will be able to clearly see how the strategy changes.
This clinic is only $75 for the day. Bring a lunch, refreshments and all your questions. Look forward to a day of fun and learning.
