Arnold Lobel's treasured characters hop from page to stage in a story of friendship and adventure. Based on the well-loved books, and featuring a hummable score by Robert and Willie Reale, this whimsical show follows two great friends – the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons.
Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special. Part vaudeville, part make believe and all charm, A Year with Frog and Toad tells the story of a friendship that endures throughout the seasons.
DATES: October 10 & 11 at 7 p.m. and 11 & 12 at 1 p.m. (adult cast) & October 17 & 18 at 7 p.m. and 18 & 19 at 1 p.m. (youth cast)
LOCATION: Riverside Arts Center
TICKETS: Tickets can be purchased at horizonpa.yapsody.com. Tickets are $22 for regular admission and $20 for students/seniors. $10 kids matinee tickets will be offered both weekends for the Saturday and Sunday matinees for kids under 12!
When purchasing tickets, please make sure to select the correct weekend for the cast you'd like to see. The adult cast will perform October 10-12 and the youth cast will perform October 17-19. We cannot accommodate ticket exchanges if performances sell out and will not refund purchases made for the incorrect weekend.
