Join us for an amazing afternoon as Broadway star Hope Harris pays tribute to Linda Ronstadt in the kickoff performance of our Jukebox Concert Series in Smith Hall Theatre on Randolph's campus. Harris has appeared on stages big and small, from Broadway to the Bluebird Cafe.
“From as early as I can remember I used to sit in the den of my family home and sing along with the radio… for hours. I will never forget the day that When Will I Be Loved came blasting out of the radio. I thought THAT is how I want to sing! Linda Ronstadt became my very first voice teacher. I listened, I practiced, I imitated…but as we all know there is only one Linda Ronstadt!
My tribute has been a lifetime in the making and includes songs spanning her entire career from her early days with the Stone Poneys to her return to her Mexican roots in Canicones de Mi Padre. Country, rock, American standards, Gilbert and Sullivan, 80’s pop, traditional Mexican music, I sing many of the songs everyone loves as well as a few lesser known gems.
