Alaska-born singer/songwriter Hope Griffin has been labeled as one of the sweethearts of Asheville's local music scene. As a six-time Best of WNC award winner, she is well known for her free spirited stage presence, velvety vocals, and heart wrenching ballads, all delivered behind her hauntingly beautiful acoustic guitar playing. Armed with a strong musical heritage and a 4 year degree in classical voice, Hope delivers a robust and emotional performance that may make you laugh and bring you to tears in the same breath. She is a veteran of the stage, having performed on them since she was old enough to hold a microphone. She is often seen playing various combinations with the regions' most talented powerhouse players. Additionally, she co-fronts as the lead vocalist in the multiple award winning 80's tribute band LazrLuvr.
