HFTC Community Meet & Greet — Event Summary

Location: Hope United Methodist Church, Southfield, Michigan

The Hope for the City–Southfield Foundation (HFTC) Community Meet & Greet is designed to introduce and strengthen the Foundation’s relationship with community leaders, partners, supporters, and residents while highlighting HFTC’s mission and growing work in Southfield.

The event will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the Foundation’s priorities, particularly its commitment to youth development, education, entrepreneurship and workforce readiness, the arts, and community partnerships.

The Meet & Greet will also allow HFTC to:

• Introduce the Foundation, its leadership, and its mission to a broader audience.
• Recognize and engage current community partners and supporters.
• Highlight upcoming youth initiatives, including the Future CEO Accelerator.
• Strengthen relationships with civic, business, education, faith, and public-safety leaders.
• Identify potential new partners, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters.
• Provide networking and relationship-building opportunities among attendees.
• Build greater awareness of HFTC as it moves from organizational development into active community programming.

The overall goal is for the event to be more than an introduction to HFTC—it should serve as a relationship-building and community-engagement event that creates momentum for future partnerships and youth-focused programming in Southfield.
