Hope for Recovery

Hope for Recovery is an education program for families, friends, and loved ones of a teen or adult living with a mental illness. NAMI Minnesota and Spero, a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, are offering this program so that families know they are not alone.

The workshop covers various mental health diagnoses, the diagnostic assessment process, treatments, and tools for recovery. Participants will also learn about crisis planning and management, skills for healthy relationships while supporting a loved one, and local resources and services. This program is led by trained family members who understand, and includes presentations, interactive exercises, support among peers, and information about the services Spero offers the community.

This workshop is not for professional development or observation.

The workshop will be held in Room 124 of the 622 building. Look for the orange NAMI yard sign. Refreshments will be provided, but participants can also bring their own lunch. Registration is recommended, but not required.

NAMI Minnesota Cancellation Policy

NAMI Minnesota thanks you for registering to attend one of our classes. We understand that unforeseen situations arise and you may need to cancel your registration. If you are unable to attend, a substitute individual is welcome to attend in your place, but NAMI Minnesota must be notified in writing (e-mail is acceptable) with the name and contact information for the person who will be attending. NAMI Minnesota reserves the right to cancel any event, conference or class due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If there is a cancellation, participants will be notified by telephone and/or email as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule.
