Hope for Recovery

Hope for Recovery is an interactive workshop where you'll learn about anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, schizophrenia, and co-occurring disorders as well as diagnostic assessment processes, treatments, and recovery.

Participants will also learn how to prepare for and manage a crisis, identify tools for building healthy relationships with their loved one, and what local resources are available. This workshop is for family, friends, and loved ones of a teen or adult living with a mental illness. It is not for professional development or observation.

Led by trained family members who have been there, this workshop includes presentations, discussions, and interactive exercises. You'll find support among peers and know that you're not alone. Spend the morning with NAMI Mankato and meet volunteers offering programs in the Mankato area. Coffee, water, and snacks will be available, but participants can also bring their own food and beverages. Registration is encouraged, but not required.

NAMI Minnesota thanks you for registering to attend one of our classes. We understand that unforeseen situations arise and you may need to cancel your registration. If you are unable to attend, a substitute individual is welcome to attend in your place, but NAMI Minnesota must be notified in writing (e-mail is acceptable) with the name and contact information for the person who will be attending. NAMI Minnesota reserves the right to cancel any event, conference or class due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If there is a cancellation, participants will be notified by telephone and/or email as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule.
