Palatka has rapidly become a favored "tour stop" for Christian Artists performing on the road. Our hospitality and beautiful location have hosted many "mainstream multi-genre" artists who enjoy performing here. HOPE FM is excited to announce the 2024 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES launching at 7pm, 11 May at First Baptist Church in Palatka Florida. The lineup includes:
- Bay Turner After gaining national recognition on the 2022 season of America’s Got Talent, American Singer/Songwriter Bay Turner was able to parlay his success into a recording career as a Christian Artist. The Texas-bred musician’s compelling version of Calum Scotts “Biblical” became a hit garnishing 10,000,000 plus views across social media platforms. Born and raised in Houston TX, he was originally a church choir singer, too shy to perform solo. It wasn’t until he was encouraged by his dad to take center stage in his teens that Turner even considered a career in music. After years of singing in church, Turner went on to pursue a degree in Opera Performance in both his under-grad and post-grad studies. Turner performed Operatic music all across North America and Europe for several years. However, he wasn’t quite satisfied and had a deep knowing that there was more. It wasn’t until 2019 when Turner performed for the judges on BET’s “Sunday Best” that he even recognized the potential for a career in Gospel/Christian Music. He was encouraged by Kirk Franklin to quit operatic singing and focus solely on making music for the Lord and that’s just what he did. - Jeremy Rosado You may recognize him from his time on American Idol and The Voice. He’s an amazingly talented singer with a tremendous heart for his family. Grew up in a large Puerto Rican family in Queens, New York, and got his start singing at neighborhood Block Parties. At 10 years old, his family moved to Florida and Jeremy began participating in Choir at Church and school. He later became a worship leader and started gaining traction in the local music scene. At 21, he got the opportunity to open for Andre Bocelli in Germany and finally felt his career taking-off. However, later that year Jeremy made the biggest decision of his life and decided to take guardianship of his niece, since he was the most fit to care for her. - Iveth Luna Named one of the “Top 10 Unforgettable Artists of 2022” by Air1 Radio, Red Street Records’ Iveth Luna is one of Contemporary Christian Music’s newcomers on a mission to point listeners to Jesus. Iveth’s musical journey started early in the Church, where she felt called to use her talents to honor the Lord. When music and God’s word were combined, it brought healing for her through hard times, she began writing music to share with others this message of hope and truth. Tapping into her experience as a worship leader combined with her pop/Latin roots, Iveth’s distinct sound, and bilingual talents give her an edge within the genre. With over 7 million streams in 2022, her debut single “In You”, reached #28 on the Billboard Christian Airplay Chart and was included on Air1 Radio’s “Top 10 Unforgettable Songs of 2022.” Iveth is hopeful that her music will bring healing to others as it did for her.
