This month we are changing it up a bit! Our presenter is Elaine, but she goes by Sky, Schenkel!
Sky began drinking at 13 years of age and continued down the road of addiction for 8 years, until just before she turned 21. She got sober as a college student at Stockton State College, when she started attending AA meetings. Interesting that just prior to her becoming of legal age to drink, she found her sobriety! She had many ups and downs while she was drinking and is proud to be 40 years sober today! She has much to share about the role her family played in her journey as well as the road to and through recovery!
