Hoops for Hope

Join us for “Hoops for Hope”, a 3v3 basketball tournament hosted by Hope Street Ministry’s Greenhouse Leadership Society! The Greenhouse Leadership Society is a youth leadership program empowering students to discover their unique gifts, grow as leaders, and make a difference in their community. Through this program our youth get to directly impact the work being done at Hope Street, a nonprofit on 26th and Capitol that provides supportive housing and community for men, women, and children navigating through difficult situations.
This student-led event brings our community together through basketball, fun, and fellowship while raising funds for Hope Street’s Baby Acorn Fund. The fund helps cover the $150 monthly cost for each child living at Hope Street, allowing families to stay together and grow in a supportive community without the added financial burden. Come play, cheer, and help plant the seeds for families to flourish!
The 3v3 tourney will take place on November 8th between 12pm - 4pm at Shechem at Hope Street. Teams of 3 are able to sign up. Ages 14-18, boys, girls and/or coed teams.
Game play will happen in two brackets of 12 teams, ideally. Hope Street will reach out to you a few days before the event to update you on your gametime!
