Establish in 2023 and with increasing popularity this interactive and immersive night at the museum has something that will entertain any one of any age no matter if you’re a Petrolhead or not. This special after-hours event only happens twice a year.

🤲🏻 TOUCH 🤲🏻 This is the most intimate experience offered in a classic car museum in New Zealand. Majority of our museum isn’t roped off. You can admire almost every car in the collection from every side and angle, as well as EXCLUSIVE to Hoods Up! Friday admire every inside angle... that’s right, we unlock the doors for you to get inside our collection.
Inhale 👃 No matter your preference of aromas whether it’s car polish, old vinyl, engine oil, or petrol, you have you covered! Inhale mouth-wateringly delicious onsite catering and bar or a shot straight from petrolhead heaven into your veins with onsite LIVE demos and exclusive access inside Cartel Works Ltd workshop.

Miss Classic Nelson Autumn 🍂 – April 11th
There is no extra charge to enter in Miss Classic Nelson, however you will need to purchase tickets to our Hoods Up! Friday event. Young persons 15 years or younger are welcome to enter into the pageant but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Prizes are varied and be adult themed. Prizes are given out at random and are non-exchangeable.
