All are welcome to join us for a community gathering of truth, sharing, and connection.
Hear the stories of Residential School Survivor Karen M. Chaboyer (Rainy River First Nation) and Sixties Scoop Survivor Darcylee Brioux Ignace (Lac des Mille Lacs First Nation).
Share in the harvest of locally grown sweetgrass and prairie sage, and learn how Indigenous medicine gardens play an important role in reconciliation.
We’ll also be joined by Richmond Hill’s Greening The Hill Team, who will be providing light refreshments and a children’s activity table. Chi Miigwetch!
