About this Event
Join us for an interactive workshop at St George’s Hall (Café), Liverpool.
This session will help you understand ‘honour’-based abuse (HBA) and harmful practices, including forced marriage, conversion 'therapy', and female genital mutilation (FGM).
We’ll talk through warning signs, how these harms can affect those at risk and the people around them, and what safe options are available for getting help.

- How to recognise possible warning signs
- How to respond safely if you’re worried about someone
- What specialist help and reporting options are available through Savera UK and other local and national services
What you’ll leave with
- A clearer understanding of these harms and how they can show up
- More confidence to have safe conversations and challenge stigma
- Practical information on where to get help and how to access it
Who this is for
- This workshop is for anyone aged 18+
