🏁 End Point: Vogel Park – Bench Reveal & Dedication Ceremony
🚶♀️ Distance: About 3 miles (walk at your own pace)
This special evening will feature a memorial bench reveal at Vogel Park, honoring Dr. Temple’s compassion and legacy. The bench will serve as a place of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for years to come.
🎄 Festive Theme: We encourage everyone to wear light-up or holiday-inspired attire! Together we’ll enjoy the city’s holiday lights and light up the path in Dr. Temple’s honor.
💛 How You Can Help:
We are raising $3,000 to cover the memorial bench and contribute to the Paul Temple Scholarship Fund, ensuring his mission continues. Donations of any size are deeply appreciated.
✍️ Deadline to Donate for the bench: September 26, 2025
✍️Donations to the scholarship fund may be made anytime including the day of the event.
💌 Donate: Checks or payments made to The City of Rome will be put toward the bench. Checks or payments made to the Rome Community Foundation will be put toward the scholarship fund in his memory. (Please indicate Paul Temple Scholarship Fund on memo line.)
