Honoring All Who Serve, featuring the world premiere of the F. Trevor Gamble Legacy Symphony

Join us for this special event featuring a “soundtrack of history“ inspired by the life of cherished local icon, Dr. F. Trevor “Trig“ Gamble — from his days as a Navy pilot in the Korean War to his wisdom and guidance as Dean of Students at Denison University to his community service with the Boy Scouts, United Way, Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra and more.
The four movement symphony by composer Ching-chu Hu will be performed by the Denison Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Philip Rudd, and feature baritone soloist Harris Ipock.
In addition to the symphony premiere, the event will include exhibits and tributes to veterans and Denison University as part of the Ohio 250 celebration.
Commissioned by the Granville Historical Society, this gift to the community was made possible by several generous donations.
