Honeytree

A Honeytree concert is both fun and moving, nostalgic and new. You will hear favorites like Clean Before My Lord and Rattle Me Shake Me which emerged from the heart of the Jesus Movement in the early 1970s. You will hear songs like Pioneer, Up to Something Good, and Walk with Me – signposts along her journey through life and ministry. You will enjoy her beautiful acoustic guitar artistry.

Nancy Honeytree helped pioneer what we now recognize as contemporary Christian music. Her voice carries something raw, honest and deeply personal. Nancy Honeytree’s work stands as a reminder of a movement where music wasn’t about performance, it was about testimony.

As a singer-songwriter, Honeytree has a gift for taking everyday moments and giving them meaning. Her lyrics are not lofty; they are honest. In her vulnerability, there is power. Her faith is not a distant theology, but a lived experience – sometimes tender, sometimes humorous, always anchored in Jesus.

Cross cultural singing is a passion for Nancy. She speaks Spanish and has 3 albums in Spanish, the most recent called, “Acompáñame” (the English version is “Walk with Me.”) Nancy is involved daily in Legado de Acompañamiento, an online grief recovery ministry in Spanish. She also has 2 brand-new releases in the Urdu language of Pakistan, duets with Zubin Ernest, “Call of the Harvest” and “Hai Yakeen” (I Believe.)

Home church and family have always been a priority for Honeytree. When not on the road, she leads worship at Calvary Christian Fellowship, a local church in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she lives close to her son, Will, and her grandkids.

She Leads America honored Nancy Honeytree with the Christian Woman of Distinction award in 2022, which honor is preserved in the Congressional Record of the United States of America. Honeytree is active in the She Leads Indiana and She Leads America movement to honor extraordinary Christian women of leadership who are serving the Lord Jesus in every profession. It’s all about living for Jesus!

Tickets are $30.00 in advance and $40.00 at the door. Seating is general admission and doors open at 6:30 PM. Concessions will be available for sale during the concert.

The Music Factory is located on the 2nd floor of a non-handicap accessible building and there are some stairs to climb.

*For attendees in groups of eight or more who want to sit together, please feel free to contact us in advance and we are willing to set aside a group of chairs in the back seating section of the main room floor for your group. We don’t do group discounts.
