About this Event
Interested in learning more about beekeeping in an urban setting, when to harvest, and how it's done? Join us for an interactive, hands-on workshop with local farmer and expert Dulce Morales, of Cedillo's Fresh Produce. Participants will learn about when and how to collect honey, how to separate the wax from the frames, how to use a honey harvester, and the jarring process.
You’ll leave with a better understanding of beekeeping and what it takes to bring honey to your local market!
* This workshop is kid-friendly and Spanish translating is available.
* This is a sticky activity! Please come prepared.

Co-founder and leader, Dulce Morales has been learning all the ins and outs of farming and has worked with Oscar Villa from BeeUtiful Honey & Candles to manage, harvest and become her own beekeeper.
