Join us for a hands-on makers workshop where you'll discover the art of crafting your very own gourmet seasoned honey, blending locally sourced honey with fragrant herbs and botanicals to create unique, sophisticated flavors.
Think delicate floral notes, warm spices, and unexpected combinations that turn an everyday spoonful of honey into something truly special.
Our featured presenter, Saned Cardona of The Blooming Lady Apothecary, will introduce you to the wonderful world of herbs, their traditional uses, and how different flavors and botanicals complement one another.
We'll also sprinkle in a little bee knowledge with local beekeeper and apitherapy enthusiast Beth Brown, because there's quite a fascinating story behind every jar of honey!
Choose from a beautiful assortment of dried botanicals, including lavender, rose, chamomile, clover, cinnamon, hibiscus, peppermint, ginger, and lemon balm.
Using your very own marble mortar and pestle, you'll crush your selected botanicals to release their wonderful aromas before blending them into golden honey, creating a one-of-a-kind gourmet blend.
Imagine your creation drizzled over warm biscuits, paired with artisan cheeses, stirred into tea, or added to your favorite recipes. And because you'll be gaining knowledge about herbs & flavor combinations, you'll leave with ideas for creating even more blends at home!
