Our keynote speaker for our 2024 Homestead Days is actor Sean Astin. This event will be held at the Education Center's outside stage. Admission to Homestead National Historical Park and all events is free to the public. Sean Astin is known for his roles in Goonies, Rudy, Stranger Things, The Conners, The Lord of the Rings, and many more.
Astin's keynote speech will reflect on his genealogy and the lessons he has learned over his long career.
This event will feature traditional craft demonstrations, antique farming demonstration on the prairie, and other scheduled stage presentations/performances.
*Metal folding chairs will be available on site, but we welcome lawn chairs and folding chairs
