This engaging course introduces young artists to the Elements of Art and Principles of Design while encouraging creative exploration through a wide variety of mediums.

Throughout the session, students will:
🎨 Build foundational art skills—line, shape, color, value, texture, form, space
🖼 Apply design principles such as balance, contrast, rhythm, emphasis, unity, and movement
🖌 Experiment with multiple mediums, including drawing, painting, pastels, mixed media, ink, collage, sculpture materials, and more
🧠 Develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills through hands-on projects
✨ Discover their personal artistic voice in a supportive, encouraging studio environment
Each class includes guided instruction, demonstrations, and individualized feedback to help students grow confidently as artists.
This semester's projects are all new! If your student has participated in previous semesters of homeschool art, we will not be repeating projects from those courses.
