This Homeschool Sewing Lab is designed specifically for teens ages 13–17 who are new to sewing or want structured practice time at the machine.Instead of rushing into a full project, students will build confidence through a guided fabric patch sewing exercise.
🧵 What students will practice:
• Threading and setting up a sewing machine
• Presser foot control (lifting, lowering, pivoting)
• Straight, curved, and corner stitching
• Stitch length control and fabric handling
Each student will design and stitch a custom fabric patch, allowing them to focus on technique while enjoying the creative process.
