NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED, WALK-INS WELCOME!
What a perfect way to start the school year! Bring your homeschoolers out to Caesar Ford Park to look for fish, amphibians, insects, and more in the creek. Learn about the critters that live in the ripples and which ones indicate the health of our streams. A limited number of nets will be available to borrow for the program.
Homeschool Science Days are station-based with various fun, educational activities. These are drop-in programs that begin at 10 am, and end at noon. Please plan to arrive no later than 11:30 am, in order to have time to enjoy the activities.
Dress for the weather. This program will be entirely outdoors, rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, check our Facebook page for updates. There is a chance that participants may get muddy. At least one adult must be present with each homeschool group.
Closed-toed shoes are recommended. Signs will guide you to the creek.
