Please join us at the Hazleton Area Public Library for a special program designed for homeschool families with children of all ages.
On Tuesday, October 28th, we’ll use child-safe tools to carve ivory soap into fun miniature sculptures. We will learn how to create a 3-D artifact out of a 2-D drawing and learn how to plan ahead. A brief history of the evolution of sculpture and notable artists will also be discussed.
This program includes engaging educational content and hands-on activities.
