Join us for a beautiful hike in Paris Mountain State Park ☀️
For those of you that struggled on Sulphur Springs Trail that one time before this is NOT that difficult in comparison. It’s the easiest part of that trail with a cool fire tower to explore at the end. It’s 3 miles and 482 ft elevation gain. The Sulphur Springs portion is really wide open, you can see from the ridge line all the way out over the mountain range. It’s beautiful! 🤩
PARKING: You drive up to the Brissy Ridge parking area to begin. This is within Paris Mountain State Park and it’s about a 10 min beautiful drive through the park so account for that when traveling on the day of.
FEES: $6 adults; $3.75 SC seniors (age 65 & older); $3.50/ child age 6-15; Free for children 5 and younger. Included in the SC State park pass ($99) & I highly recommend as part of our hiking club.
MEETING POINT: meet at the trailhead signs for Sulphur Springs & Brissy Ridge. We will be going up the mountain to start. Note: Sulphur springs continues down the mountain back towards the entrance, make sure you are at the one with the Brissy Ridge sign also.
WHEN: March 17th, 10am. We will head out on the trail at 10:15am. If you’re running late, text me!
AGE: all ages! Truly we have had such a wide range of kids. We have babies in carriers up through tweens. We would love to see more older kids/tweens especially girls, so some of our regular attendees have more friends to get to know.
