Homeschool Families - Please join us on the first Monday of the month for a special gathering at the library.
Please register here: https://mnl.libcal.com/event/17563510
We will have games, crafts, STEM projects, guest speakers and more. Each month we'll set aside some time to talk and plan for the months ahead. Our goal is to create special experiences that meet the interests of the group.
Our Lower Level auditorium and additional conference and tutor rooms will provide plenty of space and flexibility so that we can have options to suit different interests and age groups.
November 2nd: Let's have a simple get together to introduce you to our newly renovated library. Miss Lizzie - Youth Service Coordinator - will provide games, a craft, some art supplies and a few STEM challenges. We'll tour the library and make some plans for the months ahead. Miss Lizzie will also share details about other programs on our library calendar and talk with any interested in our VolunTEENS program, 1st Chapter Book Club or becoming an official library volunteer.
A few things on our our list from last year's group: Bringing in a local artist for a workshop on watercolors, starting a book club, a local history program and putting together a simple Reader's Theatre performance.
We'll add each month's program highlight here in the description.
