Homeschool friends, You’re invited to an all inclusive (neurodivergent friendly) homeschool Halloween Party!!
Come make some crafts!
Eat some yummy snacks!!
Play some games!!
And mingle with other homeschoolers!!
Stay for just a little while, or stay for the whole thing!
Costumes are optional (but if you do dress up, please remember we will be in a library and homeschoolers of all ages will be there, so please keep it appropriate!)
This will also be a safe space for EVERYONE!
Please no bullying, political talk, judgment of others, and big emotions or challenging behaviors will be understood and supported (to the best of our abilities!!)
We’re all in this together, and we want everyone to feel comfortable, safe, and welcome!
We encourage everyone to bring a snack or drink to share (but please do not feel obligated to do so if you’re not in the position financially or time wise to do so! We completely understand!)
Since we will be in the library (basement community room), music of any kind will be kid friendly and the volume will be low!
There will be sensory bins, and calm activities for those that do not want to participate in any games or activities!!
There will be no winners or losers if games are played and every kid will go home with non food/candy related prizes!
