🚒 HOMESCHOOL FIRE SAFETY DAY 🚒
The Texas City Fire Department is excited to explore a new opportunity for homeschool families throughout Texas City and surrounding communities!
Join us this October for a fun, interactive, and educational experience designed specifically for homeschool students. Participants will have the opportunity to learn important fire safety skills while getting an up-close look at the firefighters, equipment, and apparatus that help protect our community every day.
Activities may include:
🚒 Fire Truck Tours
👨‍🚒 Meet Firefighters
🧯 Bunker Gear Demonstrations
🔥 Fire Safety Education
🐾 Meet Sparky
📸 Photo Opportunities
This event is being developed as part of Fire Prevention Month and is intended to provide homeschool students with the same fire safety education opportunities that many students receive through traditional school programs.
📅 Tentative Date: Tuesday, October 13, 2026
⏰ Tentative Time: 10:00 AM
📍 Texas City Fire Department – Station 4
At this time, we are gathering interest to help us plan for attendance and determine the best way to serve homeschool families throughout our area.
⚠️⚠️If this is something your family would be interested in attending, please click "Interested" or "Going" and share this event with other homeschool families, co-ops, and educational groups. ⚠️⚠️
Our goal is simple: to make fire safety education accessible to as many children as possible, regardless of where they receive their education.
We look forward to bringing this exciting new program to our community!
