FAQs
• Who can attend the Homeschool Prom?
All homeschoolers in high school are invited to attend the Homeschool Fall Dance. Homeschoolers must be between 14 – 19 years old and a current homeschool student. There is a limited number of spots for the dance.
• Will there be food?
Yes! We will have a full dinner, beverages and dessert!
• What kind of music will be played at the Prom? Can I make requests?
Music for the Prom will be provided this year by a DJ who will play various songs. There will be no profanity; "clean" or "radio" versions of songs will be played. Yes, song requests can made during the registration process.
• Is there a Photographer?
No, but students can utilize the Selfie Station that has a photo backdrop.
• How strict is the dress code?
The Homeschool Fall Dance is typically a formal event.
Gentlemen
• Must wear button-down dress shirt and tie.
• Dress pants required, no khaki or denim.
• Jackets are optional.
Ladies
• A modest, becoming dress is expected. Please use discretion.
• Short dresses or slits in floor-length gowns must not be above the knee.
• No cleavage or midriffs exposed, or covered by see-through fabrics
• Spaghetti straps and strapless gowns are permitted however, torso must be covered front and back, from armpit to armpit, no plunging necklines exposing cleavage area
• Can I get a refund?
No refunds will be given for any reason. So be absolutely sure you can make it before purchasing tickets.
• My parents would like to help somehow... what can they do?
We could use help with set up and clean up after prom. If your family (or someone you know) owns a business: sponsors and giveaways for the event are also appreciated. We will also take donations anytime! Email us at [email protected] if you are able to help.
The biggest thing parents (and teens) can do to help is to read these FAQs and adhere to these rules. Read the terms before you purchase your ticket. Once you purchase your ticket, you are bound by these rules. If you have any questions, please ask us for clarification BEFORE the Fall Dance night. All attendees will stay within the physical boundaries set for the event, and will not leave premises or venture into areas designated as off-limits. Attendees may not leave and re-enter.
