Saltwater Fishing!It’s time to bait, cast, and reel in your catch!
In this homeschool program, students will gain hands-on experience learning the basics and ethics of saltwater fishing. Students will also be led along Florida’s coastline by our naturalist instructors to identify coastal species and discover the importance of protecting our coastal ecosystems! All supplies will be provided.
Date: Friday, May 29th, 2026
Location: Anclote Gulf Park (Shelter #3)
Time: 9:00am - 1:00pm
Ages: 7-12 years old
Cost: $20.00 per child
Please send your child with lunch, snacks, water, close-toed water shoes (Crocs are NOT recommended), a towel, and a change of clothes. Please arrive with your child prepared to get wet, we will be wading in the water up to waist-deep!
Drop-off will be from 8:45am-9:00am and pick-up will be from 12:45pm-1:00pm.
All participants must register.
Program subject to changes and cancellation. Notice will be sent out in the event of cancellation.
