Have you ever wondered how people got their clothes and bags before there were stores? Well, they made them by hand! Join us at the Octagon Visitor Center as we explore the fibers that Indigenous peoples used to make clothing, bags, and blankets and try your hand and twining and weaving to make your own textile or cloth! This program is geared toward students 5–12 years of age; younger students are welcome to attend but will not be able to participate in the activity without one-on-one aid from a parent or guardian.
