Visit the Learning Campus once a month this fall for homeschool classes for grades K-12. There will be fun activities for the students to participate in while also learning about the biodiverse ecosystems at Alabama's Gulf State Park (and maybe even meeting some new friends!)Topics:
JANUARY- Discover the history of the Gulf Coast and step into the shoes of an archaeologist! Participate in a mock archaeology dig and pottery creation.
FEBRUARY- Science rules! Explore the different field and lab techniques used by real scientists while learning about STEM careers. Special guests from Auburn University will be joining!
MARCH- Powerful plants! Uncover the mysteries behind plants and try your hand at gardening. Take home a seed to document its growth until April!
APRIL-How did it grow? Continue your plant discoveries with hands on science and a photosynthesis deep dive!
Two classes will be held concurrently. Ages 12-18 AND ages 5-11.
