Farmers planted their crops in the spring and cared for them all summer long. Now it’s harvest time! In Nebraska, autumn brings fairs and community celebrations that honor the harvest. Don’t miss out on the excitement—join us at the Nebraska History Museum on October 8th for a day filled with learning about farming and Nebraska crops, and diving into the joys of fall festivities.
Join the Nebraska History Museum, Lancaster County Extension – 4H, and the International Quilt Museum for a morning of hands-on learning! Open from 9 a.m. to noon, you can spend the whole morning diving into learning stations or just swing by for a little bit—whatever works for you! We’ve got activities designed for learners from Pre-K all the way up to 8th grade.
