Join other middle and high school-aged homeschoolers to experience a naturalist-led field trip at McKinley Woods – Kerry Sheridan Grove. Unlock the mysteries of the forest ecosystem! Students will learn how to identify unique tree species and explore their anatomy and will learn about their local forest community and the woodland species who depend on it.
Fee: Free!
Age: Ages 10-18. Participants must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note this is not a drop-off program; adults or chaperones do not need to register but must be present for the program.
This is an inclusive field trip, welcoming individuals of all abilities. Four Rivers Environmental Education Center is an accessible facility. Hikes will be up to 2 miles over paved and natural surface terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online (https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information/request-accommodation-inclusion-service/) no later than 48 hours before the program.
