Welcome, all homeschool families! Join other middle and high school-aged homeschoolers to experience a naturalist-led field trip at McKinley Woods – Kerry Sheridan Grove. Explore the diversity of life in the forest preserve by participating in a BioBlitz. Become a citizen scientist and use a variety of scientific tools to observe, identify and count all the unique kinds of life that exist at Four Rivers. Make ecological predictions and conservation plans based on the data collected.
Fee: Free!
Age: Ages 11-18. Participants must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note this is not a drop-off program; adults or chaperones do not need to register but must be present for the program. This is an inclusive field trip, welcoming individuals of all abilities.
Four Rivers Environmental Education Center is an accessible facility. Hikes will be up to 1 mile over paved and natural surface terrain.
