๐ Homeschool Connection Meetup ๐

Join us for a casual afternoon of connection at Lake Wilderness Park!
This meetup is open to:
* Current homeschool families
* Families considering homeschooling
* Anyone with questions about getting started
Children are welcome to play at the playground while parents visit, ask questions, exchange ideas, and share experiences. Whether youโre looking for curriculum suggestions, information about local co-ops, what a typical homeschool day looks like, or simply want to meet other homeschool families, this is a great opportunity to connect.
๐ Date: Sunday, September 13
๐ Time: 1:00 PM โ 3:00 PM
๐ Location: Lake Wilderness Park Playground, Maple Valley
Weโll meet at one of the picnic tables if one is available. If not, Iโll have a table set up nearby.
Iโll provide:
* Water, juice, and light snacks
* Coloring books and crayons
* A printed list of homeschool resources and local information
Feel free to bring:
* A camp chair or picnic blanket
* Toys or outdoor games for your children
Weโll also be collecting donations for Foster Champs of Washingtonโs Back-to-School Drive! If youโd like to participate, feel free to bring any of the following new items:
๐ Shoes
๐งฆ Socks and underwear
๐ Backpacks
๐ง Water bottles
๐ง Earbuds or headphones
All donated items will be delivered directly to Foster Champs to help local children in foster care begin the school year feeling prepared and confident.
Youโll also have the opportunity to learn about future family-friendly community events and ways to get involved if youโre interested.
This is a relaxed, informal gathering designed to encourage community, answer questions, support local families, and serve our neighbors. Weโd love to have you join us!
