About this Event

Strategy & Tactics for Intermediate Players. After building the basics in the Beginner Foundations class, students move into a deeper understanding of the game. This session focuses on beginner-friendly strategies and step-by-step planning to help kids think ahead and make stronger moves. Students will explore: *Opening principles and how to start the game with a plan. *Tactical patterns like forks, pins, and discovered attacks. *How to spot threats and opportunities during a game. *Decision-making skills to build confidence at the board.
