Brilliant colors, nature-inspired motifs and intricate patterns have made Scandinavian folk art a highly recognizable art form. Over the years it has shown up in textiles, woodwork and paintings. Students will enjoy learning about this rich cultural heritage before painting their own versions onto handmade wooden tablet/book stands that they will get to keep!
