About this Event

This summer, as Homeless Link marks 25 years, we’re bringing people from across the homelessness sector together at our flagship conference to reflect on what’s worked, learn from today’s realities and look ahead to the future.

Over two focused days, frontline workers, service managers and leaders from around the country will connect, share what’s working, tackle today’s challenges and explore what’s next, taking practical ideas back to their services.

Why Under One Roof

Homelessness services are under increasing pressure. Under One Roof offers protected time to step back, learn from others and reconnect with the bigger picture.

You’ll gain:
  • insight from 25 years of collective impact
  • practical learning grounded in real services
  • connections that last long after the conference
  • ideas you can use straight away

Who is Under One Roof for?

Under One Roof is for anyone working with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including:

  • Frontline staff
  • Service and team managers
  • Directors and sector leaders
  • Policy, commissioning and system partners
  • Trustees and board members

Whether this is your first Homeless Link conference or you’ve joined us before, you’ll find a warm, inclusive space to listen, contribute and connect.

What to expect

Day One looks at where the sector is now, what’s shaped homelessness services over the past 25 years, what’s helping teams work under pressure today, and learning from lived experience and practice across the country.

The day ends with the Excellence Awards ceremony and gala dinner a chance to celebrate the people, teams and partnerships making a real difference.

Day Two looks ahead, focusing on how services can respond to rising pressures, work better together and strengthen their impact.

The programme
  • Choose from practical breakout sessions covering key issues facing services right now, from supported housing regulation and renters’ rights to safeguarding, responding to domestic abuse and supporting workforce wellbeing.
  • Experience a lived experience takeover by Museum of Homelessness, an exclusive adaptation of their smash hit show How to Survive the Apocalypse.
  • Join plenaries exploring 25 years of sector impact, the current landscape and what’s ahead with sector leaders including Mark Simms (P3 Charity), Bonnie Williams (Housing Justice), Salma Ravat (One Roof Leicester) and Amanda Dubarry (Your Place)
